So this guy earned a spot in "the best friend mini-series" because, he commented on one of our Snapchats, asking about the other one. Like I said before, it's not abnormal for guys to approach me with all intentions to getting to my best friend. It's like I'm the gatekeeper or something and everyone knows but me. But I've learned to take the perks of the position, like free drinks and laughing at all my jokes. I mean, I laugh at all my jokes anyway, so it's nice to have kind of a chorus of laughter. Well, and this rare occasion though, the tables were turned. When this certain best friend and I go out, which is quite too often for knowledge of my mother's. Just kidding. My mom encourages it and send me liquor for every occasion. Easter, Birthday, Hanukkah (we're not even Jewish). But every time we go out, we post at least one picture of both of us all dolled-up, ready for the night. Sure, sometimes it evokes compliments, but most the time it's just for us to be like Bam! we're ready. Well, one of her many compliments on her post one night was, "who's the brunette, winky face." It was someone on her Snapchat that had just added her and they've never actually conversed. So, she gladly took control of the situation. She thanked him and was humble and asked for a picture of him. Once you pass the selfie test, then she proceeded to give me his Snapchat. I know I know, it's like passing notes in 6th grade. But, he was cute; it was nice to be on the other side of this equation. Playful banter only lasts so long.... Shortbread cookies are not suiting enough for this guy, I had to "compliment them" with chocolate chips.
