"Jack of Clubs" I’m not really sure what the age limit for clubs are, but this 27-year-old made her way to the dance floor one Friday night, only to grace eyes with a tall dark and handsome man a few feet away. He never approached me or looked at me too long but when my best friend and I, made our way to the bar, That’s when he made his move. Okay, so maybe he didn't look exactly like Andy Samberg or say something quite as provocative ("provacative-- get's the people going") .... He smiled and just started talking about.... nothing really, and then ask Rose drinking and somehow got me to ask him to dance. He was respectful with his hands and didn't give off any kind of creepy vibe. Then he bought me a shot, of my choice, which I went with a delicious mixed shot, of some variety, and asked for my number. In that order. Well done, lad. Apologetically, he said he didn’t want there to be any pressure; I was pleasantly surprised. After a little flirting, I shared the ten digits and made my way from the bar to the Uber. He texted me for consecutive days later, interested in my career and places of interest. The conversation slowly fizzled out, but there was never any kind of disrespect or suggestive conversation. He kept it PG and was a nice guy. I guess the kind a guy we would run into in high school… Because I feel like after college was when guys started demanding things. So he was a nice guy. Obviously, this isn't as enthralling as the stories where a guy ends up beating someone up at the bar, telling me that he thought my best friend was hotter anyway, or having a breathalyzer on his car, but at least he wasn't....
